One of the Most Interesting Birds - Pileated Woodpecker

I'm lucky to live where there is a variety of wildlife. This is one of my favorite birds. It was rare to see one when we moved here. We would hear them by their call but we rarely saw one. Now they're regulars and enjoy the suet as well as playing peek-a-boo with us in our maple tree in the summer when we're in the garden. If you see one consider yourself encouraged in any project that you've undertaken as they represent loyalty, hard work and determination.
