Some Days You Plan and Some Days You Don't

I would say I've been trying to photograph the owls here for about five years. I've sat under trees and waited and scanned the skies. Today I looked out the window and had to run for the camera. The best photos are those that are unexpected - unless of course you're trying to change the lens, sneak out the back door and not scare on owl.
