Wildflowers on Sunday

Sunday is my favorite day for taking pictures and what better way than to highlight wildflowers. It was a hot day in July and I chose to follow an abandoned road to the river. I didn't see these on the way because of the heavy underbrush but on the way back they stood out on the side of the road waiting for their opportunity to amaze me.
